Witches Night Bazaar : Rite of Spring

The Witches Night Bazaar

Saturday, March 22, 2025

VIP vending : 6 - 7 pm
GA vending : 7 pm - 12 am.

I’ll be a vendor at the Witches Night Bazaar with Tarot Boxes, Journals, and Coffin Sketchbooks - come see me and get into community with other witches!

About the Bazaar:

We began The Witches Night Bazaar in 2018 to bring community together and create magical spaces for artists, makers, and seekers. As two practicing witches, we aim to curate events open to people of all paths that create real-world opportunities for learning, camaraderie, ritual, joy, and a celebration of the arts. We pride ourselves on creating enchanting events that bring together amazing artists, musicians, metaphysical workers, community organizations, teachers, and creators.

The Witches Night Bazaar occurs twice a year in Detroit around the fall and spring equinoxes. A portion of the proceeds from each Bazaar goes to local community organizations. Past recipients include Paws for Life Rescue, The Avalon Healing Center and Michigan Immigrant Rights Center.

Sensing/Gorge Walk

Sunday November 3, 2024

11am - 12:30pm

Rooster Rock State Park

Meet at “Shelter E”

Join me for a walk in the Columbia Gorge area for the release of Sensing/Gorge zine.

This walk will be gently sloped on sandy/wooded terrain and will take approximately 1 ~ 1.5 hours.
It is a family-friendly event and we will stick to the Forest Trail, but not go further than .5 miles. We will not be visiting the clothing-optional area, and people are encouraged to bring their children. We will be attending to the ground and our surroundings mindfully.

Please keep in mind that we are going to a “designated scenic area” and thus you should bring:

  • water & food

  • sturdy shoes (no open toes)

  • layered clothing as weather is unpredictable (rain attire suggested)

I will have a first aid kit, and am first aid/CPR certified. Please bring any medications you may need, and for allergy reasons please leave behind peanut or shellfish based snacks.

Feel free to bring any cameras, notepads, or journals that would enhance your experience.

The event is free, but the parking may have a day fee $5. If you wish to donate, please consider giving to one of the many tribes that have stewarded this land for far longer than we have.

For Google Directions, click here.

Graciously Funded by RACC Art3C Grant

Please help to honor the sovereignty and role of the four Columbia River Treaty Nations in taking care of these lands and waters today—the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, the Confederated Bands and Tribes of the Yakama Nation, the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, and the Nez Perce Tribe. These bands and tribes include the Wasco, Warm Springs, Paiute, Cayuse, Umatilla, Walla Walla, Kahmilt-pah, Klickitat, Klinquit, Kow-was-say-ee, Li-ay-was, Oche-chotes, Palouse, Pisquose, Se-ap-cat, Shyiks, Skinpah, Wah-lal-la, Wenatshapam, Wishxam, Yakama, and Nimiipuu peoples.

Consider making a donation to the nations who have stewarded this land since time immemorial.
