"Imperfect" might be an over statement. These seconds just aren't up to my impeccable workmanship standard - so good news to you - they're on discount for 40-60 % off!
What's imperfect?
It could be a little moon on an endsheet, a stray drop of glue, or minor aesthetic issue, but NEVER an issue with the book's functionality. These imperfect books are still built to last, made with the highest quality materials that comprise all of my hand made books, but I don't feel right charging people full price if there's a small error.
Choose the best paper type for you in the drop down menu. These journal seconds still use the same high quality papers that I use for all of my journals.

Blank Journal / Sketchbook:
Mohawk superfine 80# soft white eggshell paper is twice as thick as a moleskine and therefore able to handle a variety of mediums without bleed through from pencil to marker. I've even watercolored in them in a pinch!
Sketchbook:
150gsm Hahnemuhle paper is a textured, toothy, ultra soft paper that handles drawings gorgeously and can take on light applications of watercolor and gouache. It's Kat's favorite for nature drawing because the paper texture is so beautiful when paired with landscape.
Mixed Media / Watercolor :
Made with Legion Stonehenge, if you want unbridled creativity, look no further, this deckled edge 100% cotton 250gsm paper can handle marker, ink, gouache, watercolor, and collage.
Or write "surprise me" and you might get an experimental book form or maybe even a box!
